LINEVO configures hanging drip coffee equipment to dose ground coffee into a filter bag for brewing over a cup. Measuring-cup and reciprocating-auger versions provide two dosing routes. Our team matches the dosing setup, filter material and outer-pouch stage to your finished retail pack.
Start with a filter and pouch photo, coffee dose and production target. LINEVO prepares the equipment scope and discusses any samples needed for selection. For other formats, compare our coffee packaging machines.
Inner filter and outer retail pouch
The inner filter holds the grounds and supports the hanging ears during brewing. The outer barrier pouch protects the filled filter before use. LINEVO defines the two stages together when you need individually wrapped retail packs.
| Packaging stage | Function | Configuration details |
|---|---|---|
| Coffee dosing | Meter ground coffee into the filter | Measuring cup or auger matched to the grind and dose |
| Inner filter | Form, fill and seal the hanging filter | Filter material, hanging-ear construction and usable fill space |
| Outer pouch | Enclose the filled filter in a barrier pack | Pouch dimensions, laminate, sealing and optional gas flushing |
| Transfer and discharge | Move the filter between stages and deliver finished packs | Transfer arrangement, coding and final pack orientation |
Dosing for your grind and fill weight
Coffee density and grind affect the volume occupied by each dose. LINEVO selects measuring-cup or auger dosing using the product and filter dimensions. Where a trial is needed, the plan covers fill consistency through hopper refill, filter handling and finished seals. Cleaning access and loose-ground collection form part of the configuration discussion.
Production output for the finished pack
For individually wrapped drip coffee, the production target is accepted, filled and sealed outer pouches per minute at the final discharge. The LINEVO proposal identifies the inner-filter machine, outer-pouch stage and transfer equipment, with the output and running conditions for that combination.
Required finished packs/min = target retail packs/hour ÷ 60.
For example, a requirement of 1,800 retail packs/hour equals 30 finished packs/min. This is a planning calculation for the buyer’s target, not a machine performance claim. The acceptance plan counts complete packs over an agreed run and records stoppages and rejects.
Seals and freshness options
The outer-pouch laminate, seal dimensions and opening feature are selected around your pack. Nitrogen flushing is itemized separately when required. Residual-oxygen targets, sampling time and measurement method belong in the acceptance plan for the finished pack.
ASTM F88 / F88M provides a seal-strength measurement method. Seal strength, leakage and shelf-life evaluation address different properties; the project plan defines the checks needed for your product.
UFO filter equipment
LINEVO also supplies equipment for UFO-style filters. Our team selects that route when your brewing format uses a supported filter cup. Its machine configuration and output are specified separately from hanging drip bags.
